Olive Farm Wines is a boutique producer, selling most of our wines exclusively from cellar door. 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Colour: Deep plum with orange/brown tints. Nose: Cassis, spearmint, eucalypt, preserved plums, mulberry. Palate: Fine grained, drying tannins; cedar spice, menthol, complex mid palate, clean finish. Drink: Drinking well now and for up to 6 years. This wine is very typical of Swan Valley Cabernet. Generous fruits and aged complexity make for a satisfying drinking wine which also matches well with roast meats. Being aged in new and old American oak has imparted mid palate sweetness and generosity.
