It is eldest grandson's kindergarten grad gift. Being a Timex I am sure it will survive at least a year. Unfort the battery will not. I was VERY surprised that when I received the watch, IT WAS RUNNING. THE STEM WAS PUSHED IN. The batteries aren't expensive but u have to have your jeweler replace them. Bit of a hassle.
