I feel like it works well for kids and teens, especially for college students that will be living in dorms. The material of the fabric is different compared to other ones that I have used. The fabric is a lot softer and it isn't as heavy, which is great for throwing in the washer and dryer. The color choice is nice as well, the purple color pops and the houndstooth pattern is very unexpected and makes the whole set unique. However, after my granddaughter opened the package, we found that there was a major flaw in one of the pillowcases that makes it necessary to pull out my sewing machine and repair. As you can see by the photo, there is a raw edge to the pillow case that was not sewn down. I am not a picky person, I am happy with what I get, and I usually do not have high expectations of things. Some people on here complain that it's "cheap"....uhm, ok. I've shopped at walmart all my life, I did not have the privilege of shopping at higher end places such as Target lol. So with that said, I love my bed in a bag. I love the florals, love the print, love the vibrant colors, yes the colors are exactly as vibrant as the picture. It is comfortable, I use my bed only to sleep in it so I don't see how this blanket can give out on me any time soon. I actually like a lighter comforter for the summer time so this is perfect.
