Who it is for:
Light-based hair removal is not suitable for use on a naturally dark skin tone.

Silk'n Glide operates with lower energy levels, making it suitable to help treat a wider range of skin tones, including some darker ones. Only the darkest skin tone cannot be safely treated with Silk'n Glide. The device comes with a built-in skin tone sensor designed to enable application only on suitable skin complexions. This unique safety feature will not let you treat skin that is too dark or too tanned. Silk'n Glide works best on darker hair colours or hair that contains more melanin, which is the pigment that gives hair its colour. Red, white, grey and blond may show some response to hair removal, but may require more treatments to achieve full results.
