This package contains 100 uses, on average, based on weight. The precise number of uses will vary slightly with packaging variations, settling during shipment and method of scooping. (Look inside for 1 tbsp. scoop).
Why Metal Packaging?

Why Powder?
Liquid laundry detergents are made up from at least 50% water. At Nellie's we don't think selling you water and moving water around the planet is a good idea. The fact is, more cleaning power can be packed into a smaller space using powder. Nellie's Laundry Soda is certified for high efficiency machines and dissolves completely in hot or cold water.
Suggested Use
Use one spoonful of Nellie's Laundry Soda for each regular sized load, wash according to instructions on garments. Always test on garments that may bleed or fade.
Other Ingredients
Coconut oil based surfactants: the natural stuff that cleans.
Sodium carbonate (soda ash): Assists the stuff that cleans by softening the water and provides alkalinity.
Sodium metasilicate: Helps prevent the metal parts in the washer from corroding.
Fatty alcohol ethoxylate: More natural stuff that cleans.
Sodium chloride: Helps hold it all together and increases flow.
