Meet Metallicus
Presenting the little metal-detecting robot that you build from a Kidz Labs® kit.
We've named him Metallicus. You push a button and he rolls around, beeping when he passes over buried treasure.
When he gets tired, just remove the small hand-held metal detector and go detecting on your own.
Assembled, Metallicus measures 3-3/4" tall x 5-3/8" long x 3-1/8" wide with a small DC motor/gear drive and a hard-wired remote with a forward/reverse switch.
Comes with (3) button cell batteries for the detector, but you add a single "AA" for the bot. For kids over 8.
