I first bought the fairy princess design two weeks ago to give her a challenge and she now completes it in under 10 minutes. Have just purchased the pirate and horse design. Am thinking I might mix up all the pieces to give her more of a challenge down the track. This is by far her most favourite thing to do. It is pulled apart and remade several times a day and hasn't even started to wear. Unlike the cardboard pieces it withstands the reuse! Highly recommend for any puzzle minded child. She will do this puzzle over and over again; I can honestly say that this is her favorite "toy".. We love to sit back and watch her thought process as she figures out where each and every piece goes.. We got this puzzle for her because she is currently in her princess phase but also thought the the number of pieces would be a challenge for her but in fact I think it's more of a challenge for my husband and I and she is often the instructor showing us where the pieces go.. We are very happy with this product and also with all the other Melissa & Doug products that we have ordered.. As we speak, I am awaiting yet another order which should be arriving today..
