Ready for anything the mountain throws your way, the Rossignol Templar Wide Snowboard has a mid-level flex that's ideal for the intermediate rider pushing themselves across the entire mountain. It's designed for the rider with bigger feet (size 11 ) seeking extra stability without toe drag holding you back. The directional shape is set-back enough to benefit from enhanced float and straight-line stability, but without hampering your ability to ride switch and learn new tricks in the park. The board's flex pattern mirrors its directional shape, giving you a stiffer feel under the rear foot that softens as you work toward the nose. Designed with Rossignol's Amptek All-Mountain profile, the Templar Wide remains versatile with responsive camber underfoot for locking into carves at high speeds and launching from side-hits and jumps. Rockered tips add playfulness to the board, so you can butter and press without the extra effort required by a fully cambered deck. The rocker also keeps the nose from submerging beneath powder, meaning you won't get helplessly stuck in deep snow. Inside this all-terrain machine, the Wood 6420 core is comprised of vertically laminated wood for a smooth, consistent flex underfoot. Looking to the board's edges, the serrated five-point edges add claw-like grip when you're carving over less-than-ideal conditions, such as bulletproof ice. Additionally, Rossi uses a 4400 sintered base that's much tougher and more wax absorbent than a cheaper extruded base, meaning it'll glide quickly down the mountain and resist damage from banging into rocks and tree limbs.
