The leg openings are cut too wide and too far up in the back. You have to have a really flat behind, no butt at all, for these to lay right. When the briefs are pulled up to the waist, the seam on each leg opening falls right in the middle of each butt cheek making it uncomfortable. Half you butt is covered and half is not, and you can feel the seams with every step you take. It looks weird under your clothes too unless you wear thick clothes. If you pull the waistband down so the seams lay where they are supposed to, you have saggy underwear and a wedgie. A size larger is way too big and baggy and sizing down only makes it worse. I've been wearing them since the '80's. So, I since their brand had gotten so small, I decided to go bigger with these...big mistake! I've always worn a size 7 in the other brand, but since the resizing, that size is WAY too small. I ordered a 10 in these briefs and I could literally fit 2 of me in them...and I am not a small woman. On the bright side, if you're a Hane's defector, my mishap can assure you that Fruit of the Loom briefs are true to the established sizing...meaning, I will be able to go back to the size 7's in this brand, and be happy with it.
