Keep your dog's nails nice and short!
All the terrible scratch marks can be avoided.
Yes, just by regular walking, the friction will keep the nails nnice and short
but in order for that, you need to walk your dog about 30min-1 hr 30 mins
a day, conventional nailclippers is good but you have to know exactly where is the kwik, 'kwik' contains the vein/blood vessels, if u cut too deep, your dog will bleed, Alternatively, this enables you u file abit at a time so when u see a difference in color in the nail means u are reaching the kwik and should stop,
Dogs with white colored nails are easier as u can see the kwik quite easily, or try to hold it against the sun.
For dogs with black colored nails it is harder to see, so a Electric nail file is more neccessary :)
