It has been horrible and nothing was giving me preventative help. Once in awhile on the spot would work once they showed up, but nothing was keeping them away. I also, lately had developed back acne that itched all the time! Top it off, I have psoriasis and when it flares I am so screwed. This body wash has replaced my other body wash! The first time I used it, when I dried off I checked out my trouble spots on my back and ALL acne spots had ruptured. Within 3 days I had nothing but soft smooth skin on my back. I use it on my peri areas, not internally of course. The first time I washed the painful spots weren't painful anymore (the follicitis when present causes very painful, pus filled acne). Within 1 week all peri follicitis was gone!! So far, 3 months later, I haven't redeveloped any back acne or peri follicitis. My psoriasis has not flared in a couple months, so I don't gave to use any topicals at all!!! I had been wondering what to do about my relatively mild acne on my shoulders and upper back, and gave this a shot. Not only did it clear my back and shoulders, I also found, to my surprise, it worked for reducing the appearance of some pretty embarrassing ingrown hairs that had been appearing on my thighs (I'm a male, I do not shave my thighs, they were just popping up there) and *eliminated* ingrown hairs in the groin area. These two areas were actually more of a concern than my shoulders but it cleared them out too! I personally prefer to use a washcloth with this product as I feel it cleans deeper that way. Daily use of this product has finally helped me get clear everywhere.
