They are stored in a 5 drawer rosewood box with shell inlays depicting birds in flight, floral images, Chinese characters and geometric designs. The rosewood box measures 9.3'' x 6.7'' x 7.5'' (23.5cm x 17cm x 19cm).
WELL CRAFTED TILES- Bone and bamboo are cut and carved into tiles one at a time, and the markings are inked by hand. These tiles are slightly smaller than most other tiles in the market. Since these tiles are hand crafted, the color and shape charmingly and subtly vary from tile to tile and from set to set. Each tile measures 1.3'' x 0.9'' x 0.5'' (3.2cm x 2.2cm x 1.2cm).
