This Mobile Broadband ZTE MF60 (Also known as Telstra Elite Mobile Wi-Fi) comes in black and has an impressive industrial design. the OLED screen will show you the signal type， signal strength， battery status， Wi-Fi mode and more. the wireless router has also an external antenna port to increase the router signal (antenna sold separately). it uses 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connection standard which is the fastest available. also offers good battery life of up to 100 hours standby mode and memory card slot for MicroSD/MicroSDHC card up to 32GB.
New interesting feature in this MiFi Router is the "Security Mode" for protecting users from unauthorized connections， unless one of these encryption modes is selected， wireless transmissions to and from your wireless network can be easily intercepted and interpreted by unauthorized users.
The security modes are described below:
Open: You can authenticate successfully with a SSID， whether it is valid or empty.
Shared: The WLAN clients who have the same WEP key with wireless gateway can pass the authentication and access the wireless network.
WPA-PSK: WPA Pre-Shared Key， Enter the Pre-Shared key as a plain text (ASCII) pass-phrase
WPA2-PSK: It is the securer version of WPA with implementation of the 802.11i standard.
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK: Apply both the WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK scheme.
About HSPA+ (3.75G Network)
HSPA+ is also known as HSPA Evolution， Evolved HSPA， hence the plus sign. HSPA stands for High Speed Packet Access. it's actually an improved version of high-speed 3G wireless networks. This is the reason why it is also referred to as 3.5G/3.75G network though it is actually capable of delivering 4G speeds.
Technically， HSPA+ can be defined as a wireless broadband protocol defined in the 3GPP release of the WCDMA specification.
