DESCRIPTION

For many reasons, a natural sea sponge is much better than a synthetic sponge. Natural sea sponges soak up and hold more water without dripping. That makes them perfect for bathing and cleaning. Natural sponges are self-cleaning through their intricate system of canals. Therefore sea sponges wash out more quickly & easily & will not retain objectionable odors. They clean better, they are softer and will not peel like synthetic sponges while being used. TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR SPONGE: Before using your sea sponge, you'll want to squeeze it under warm water to soften. Sea sponges are stiff when dry, but become very soft when wet. Soak a cleaning or bathing sea sponge for 15 minutes every few weeks in 1 cup of warm water and 1 Tablespoon of baking soda (increase solution accordingly for large sponges). Allow sponges to dry completely after each use.
