Lots of horses wear headcollars day and night, in the stable or out at grass. These horses in particular are exposed to significant danger: it is by no means uncommon for a horse to get caught up with its headcollar on branches, posts, nails, gates or gate fastenings. If the horse gets into a panic, it will not give up but rather pulls so long until it frees itself or - if the worst comes to the worst - strangles itself. In order to prevent such injuries, not to mention the worst-case scenario, ESKADRON has developed the Safety-Headcollar. A ring has been integrated into the poll strap of the headcollar which opens in response to a strong tug so that the horse may free itself quickly from its precarious situation.
