(3) The Lanikai LU-21C Concert Ukulele (23")

The LU-21C Concert Ukulele is basically the same as a Soprano Ukulele, except that it has a long fretboard (it has 18 frets compared to 12). What that means is that you can play more advanced songs that reaches higher notes (And not to worry, the finger positions to achieve the chords are exactly similar as the Soprano Ukulele). Otherwise, the material and construction is exactly similar to the Soprano Ukuleles. Intermediate ukulele players who are playing fingerstyle solos, classical solos, etc, will love this Concert Ukulele as it provides a wider range of sounds and they can be challenged to more advanced pieces.

It is not to say that the Tenor Ukulele is suited for the most advanced ukulele players, but just that compared to the Concert Ukulele, it has an even wider range of sounds. I will say, that for aspirinng ukulele players blessed with slightly plumper digits, this Tenor Ukulele will be most suitable in their quest to be great ukulele players in future!
