Found them very attractive. Liked them being up to the knee to protect from the snow. Appreciated that they were not too heavy. Have noted some people think there is no steel shank but feel there is a steel shank but no steel toe. For a few dollars more, Walmart does offer boots with BOTH a steel shank and a steel toe, also a great value. Found them warm enough for winter when paired with the right socks.
