<br />2/1 DIN accepts both sizes 2-DIN (173*98mm) and 1-DIN (182*53 mm)

<br />About head unit window size, 99% car audio head units (such as Pioneer, Alpine, Sony, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic etc) have 2-DIN size: 173 x 98mm.
<br />Most of 2-DIN head units made in China comes with size 178*100mm.
