ヘザーブラウン氏はカリフォルニア州バーバンクで幼少時代を過ごし、ハワイに移り住みました。2006年より本格的に絵を描き始め、1年も経たないうちにハワイのサーフシーン、アートシーンから注目されるようになりました。そして、ハワイ最大のミュージックフェスティバルのメインポスターを手がけ、世界中で大きな話題となり一躍サーフアートシーンの寵児になりました。
