We were super excited to get picked to review this product. I have a 6 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter who are big fans of burping and farting noises ;) When the box arrived we had to charge it for about half an hour to get it going. Would have been awesome if it was ready to go because it felt like waiting a lifetime to my kids. The instructions are VERY lengthy and they just wanted to get going. There's a good little cheat sheet that let's you know how to do the simple things (burping, farting, cluck like a chicken, moo like a cow, turn into a zombie dino) all using the remote control. It zoomed around and balanced really well! The kids had a blast with it. My son was over the moon that show and tell at school happened to be the next day and all the kids thought it was the coolest toy in the world ;) That being said, it felt like the novelty wore off quickly. It's the first toy they want to show their friends when they come over though! We just need to spend some more time figuring it out, it might a little too over complicated for my kids age group. My puppy even had a blast with it! Why you should get him: Jester has a lot of fun attributes thanks to several different mischievous modes that your will kids love! He can burp, cluck like a chicken, bark like a dog, and make your regular Dino noises. Turn him into a zombie and listen to him moan. Put him in spin mode and he gets dizzy and falls over. Gently pull its tail, and he goes into a roaring rage and charges. Control it with a remote control and freak your cat out. Jester is fantastically designed ?he’s sturdy, colorful, incredibly stable and well made. He can be run on Auto, Training Mode or Manual mode. And bonus, he’s rechargeable! Jester zips around on two wheel and balances really well on hardwood and laminate surfaces. He can even manage tile and carpet (the transition is a little tricky, but he usually makes it without falling over). What to consider: The remote is not labelled at all, just has shape buttons. The instructions are very detailed (which is good!) but it’s difficult to remember the nearly 20 control combos. On the plus side, the instruction manual does have a cheat sheet which is a life saver! Bottom line: My family of 5 received this toy for free to review and I would definitely recommend it.
