You will have to string the letters on your own.
If you need assistance to string the item, you may leave a memo when you are ordering. 
For hygiene purposes, we avoid stringing up the elements for your cake flags. We also do not know what kind of length, height or the look you want your cake flag to be. If you are particular about putting in personal effort to string up the elements on your own, please choose simpler designs.

Depending on the size and height of your cake, you may cut the straw and strings accordingly.
