Wootch is an app enabled security accessory for children, camouflaged as a rechargeable digital watch, which alerts you when your child is more than five metres (16 feet) away from you.
Proximity Detection and Locator
You can extend the maximum distance between the child wearing a Wootch and your Smartphone/Tablet up to 20 metres (65 feet). Perfect for when you are in the park/supermarket/shopping centre to avoid those moments when your child does wander off and panic takes over wondering where your child has gone!
Wootch also has a built-in ‘FindMe’ button your child can press within a 50 metre (164 feet) range. This alerts your Smartphone/Tablet so you are aware your child needs your immediate attention.
Through the QL-Find app you will also be able to establish the last seen location via the Maps application on your Smartphone/Tablet.
Wootch also has added security features, such as the ‘Device Lock’. This prevents the Wootch from being turned off without your permission.
The Wootch is also perfect for large families, family day outs and child minders as you can have up to ten Wootchs running from your Smartphone/Tablet. You can also rename each individual Wootch to reflect the name of the child within the QL-Find app.

Technical specification
Wootch uses the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology to connect to your Smartphone/Tablet. This version of Bluetooth is designed for extreme low power devices to ensure maximum battery life. Dependent on usage, Wootchs battery will last up to one month after each time being fully charged.
*Based on Wootch being switched on and connected to a compatible Smartphone/Tablet for four hours per day.
When the Wootch connects to your compatible Bluetooth 4.0 Smartphone/Tablet it synchronises with the time of your phone, so you don’t need to set the time on the Wootch itself.

Qns 1) Can anybody track my child when they are using Wootch?
Ans: Wootch is not visible when connected to your Smartphone/ Tablet.
Qns 2) Can I use my Wootch on plane?
Ans: Unfortunately, use of Bluetooth devices are not permitted on aeroplanes.
Qns 3) Is the range affected if I am in another room to the Wootch?
Ans: The signal strength will be reduced by any physical object between the Smartphone/Tablet and the Wootch.
Qns 4) How long does the battery last?
Ans: Dependent on usage, your Wootch battery will last up to one month after each time being fully charged.*Based on Wootch being switched on and connected to a compatible Smartphone/Tablet for four hours per day.
Qns 5) Can I control more than one Wootch using the QL-Find app?
Ans: Yes, you can control up to ten Wootchs simultaneously.
Qns 6) Can I connect my Wootch to more than 1 smartphone/tablet?
Ans: The Wootch can only be connected to one smartphone/tablet at a time. But you can add your Wootch to multiple devices, so you won't need to re-pair every time you want to use your Wootch with a different device.
Qns 7) Can my child turn off Wootch without me knowing?
Ans: No, but only If you have switched on ‘Device Lock’ within the QL-Find app. We recommend you switch on your ‘Device Lock’ when your Wootch is in use.
Please remember to switch off your ‘Device Lock’ before you turn off the Wootch.
Qns 8) What smartphones/tablets can I use my Wootch with?
Ans: We plan to make Wootch compatible with all Smartphones and Tablets that support Bluetooth 4.0. At launch, Wootch will be supported by the following devices: HTC One/One X+, Samsung Galaxy S4/S4 Mini/S3/S3 Mini, iPhone 4S/5, iPad 3/4, iPad Mini, iPod Touch (5th generation).
Qns 9) Does Wootch work indoors as well as outdoors?
Ans: Yes it does.
Qns 10) If I have multiple Wootch devices, how can I tell them apart?
Ans: We recommend that you rename each Wootch via the QL-Find App as soon as they are paired with your Smartphone/Tablet. You can add up to ten Wootchs per QL-Find App.
Qns 11) My Wootch won't turn off?
Ans: Please check you have turned off your device lock within the QL-Find app.
Qns 12) Is Wootch waterproof?
Ans: The Wootch is splash proof not waterproof so please remove before swimming and bath time. We hope to produce a waterproof version in the near future.
