I bought this in expectation of using for both my PC and PS4. The headset only comes with one 3.5mm jack. My PC has 2 different ports for headphones and a microphone. I was expecting to use this headset with my PC without any issues, when all the sudden I was reading the instructions and THERE it tells you that you need to BUY A SPLITTER if that's the case. I was able to plug it into either and have them work, but not both simultaneously. Also the quality of the microphone was very poor when plugged into the headset. If I removed the boom and plugged it directly into my mic jack on my PC, the quality was fine. When it was plugged into the headset jack though, the sound quality was insanely muffled. I think the cause might be the port connection between the headset and the mic boom. Regardless, it wasn't working as intended. I don't know how well this works for PS4. I have always been a fan of the Rebel Alliance color scheme so these are perfect. As headphones they are great. I can hear my game noises and get sucked into the world I am playing.
