I was wrong. I NEVER had a problem using Clean and Clear, and this being "just like" Clean and Clear I bought it. When I first used it, it was basically just like the Clean and Clear, but it was thicker in consistency. Smelled just like the Clean and Clear, but didn't wash off like Clean and Clear. When I tried to wash this product off it left a white filmy residue on my face, which I'd then have to use another product to get it off (which you aren't because it'll cause dry skin). I now have bad dry skin but not normal dry skin, it feels like the product burnt my face, and on top of that, I'm breaking out more. My concern is the thick film that's left on your face after you try really, really hard to wash it off. I have to use a dry towel to get it off. It's such a weird problem to have and I don't understand why this product made it to shelves with this imperfection. It's really annoying and clearly not the same as the original product. Seriously, fix this! Or just take it off the shelves. Put it on gently and rub ligthly. Second it feels a bit like burning if you use it right because its opening your pores up and your face can finally breath due to you having clogged pores for so long and never felt what it actually feels like to have open pores. Third it takes a few weeks to get down good in your pores to fully clean. Hello it's not gonna happen over night. If you break out more its only getting your last pimples over with. Trust me this happened to me but I still continued to use it LIGTHLY ,not scrubbing hard but lightly. A week later I had soft, smooth skin and no tiny holes in my face or clogged pores. Fourth the white stuff is your dead skin it's not the product, it's your dead skin. And like any other acne product of course it's gonna dry out your face because this is a power full product. Just lotion your face after use and you'll be fine. Clean and clear is a weak product.
