Using cutting-edge biomechanics research and feedback from an impressive list of pro players, CCM has completely revamped the Ribcor line. With new construction properties and an enhanced design, the Ribcor 70K is a truly innovative offering for players that are looking to get the most out of each stride. The Ribcor 70K features a full composite quarter construction that works in tandem with the all-new FlexFrame Technology. FlexFrame is a series of reinforcements in the skates core, with strategically placed flexion zones in the eyelets. This affords players increased forward flexion to generate power and lateral stability to help maximize energy transfer. Smooth Contour Pro padding around the ankle collar provides a comfortable edge, allowing players to dig deeper into turns with ultimate comfort. Inside the skate, CCM uses a new contoured heel lock design. This design replaces the need for the Pump from previous Ribcor models. Now, the ultra-comfortable and secure fit is built right in. Multi-density, symmetrical foam anatomically wraps around the players foot and ankle, offering a custom feel and increased comfort. Also, the 70K has CCMs TotalDri liner with Durazone abrasion protection. This liner wicks moisture away from the foot, and provides wear reinforcement to high stress areas of the skate. Further enhancing comfort and protection, the Ribcor 70K employs a TriTech Pro tongue with molded lace bite protection. This three-layered, 7mm felt tongue uses HDPE foam and an injected lace bite prevention zone to maximize protection, stabilize the foot, and provide unmatched comfort. *Youth features subject to variation
