I got them back in December, and used microfiber towels to clean them regularly(almost every time I applied make up) and deep cleaned them with soap and water only 3 or 4 times. So far 4 heads have popped of their handles. It did take a while for the glue to weaken( the first one fell around April, and the last just over this past week end. A little bit of glue and they are new- for now. I don't think I was necessarily rough while using the towels, but it could be a reason the glue loosened faster than it might have. It was disappointing, because they are so plush ( the fan brush is amazing- but mine got a little frizzy after the first wash- & I really don't care for the mineral white one which was too scratchy).
