Although Cocamidopropyl Betaine is considered a mild chemical it is not in any of the Herbal Choice Mari formulas as it has shown to cause eyelid dermatitis. Also does not contain Hydroxypropyltrimonium (a chemically processed thickening agent. Contains pure organic 100% herbal extract of tea tree which has demonstrated antimicrobial activity. No propylene glycol added as it has been associated with contact dermatitis and skin allergies as well as contact urticaria in humans.
