Heliopan's premier 62mm Short Metal Lens Hood blocks unwanted light rays from entering the lens by way of extending its front end. This prevents lens flair and greatly improves image contrast. In addition, this lens hood functions as added protection for your lens.
The highly functional Short Metal Lens Hood has the same diameter at both ends and can accommodate additional lens hoods for desired length and/or filters, lens caps, or other 62mm-threaded accessories.
Manufactured from the highest quality German metal, the Short Metal Lens Hood is specially treated to withstand powerful UV rays, extreme temperatures, and adverse weather conditions without warping, cracking or fading.
Our use of brass ensures a secure and sturdy fit and is less likely to bind or cross-thread after extended use.
We do not source any materials outside of Germany in the assembly and construction of our products. All raw materials are prepared and hand-assembled in our factory and do not leave our facility until they are completely inspected by our quality technicians.
