Indications: Conservative and postoperative treatment of Hallux valgus. ValguLoc is anatomically contoured and its simple construction ensures its ease of use. The continuous adjustable correction tape allows the abnormal hallux valgus position to be regulated by pressure and counterpressure.
ValguLoc corrects hallux valgus according to the 3-point principle and stretches shortened parts of the capsule and soft tissues. The big toe is brought into correct axial alignment by the application of small forces. The positional correction stretches the joint capsule and soft tissues.
Postoperative loss of correction (e.g. due to scar formation), can be avoided, and the splinting helps protect the big toe from mechanical forces. ValguLoc is worn without shoes and is not suitable for walking. Sizing: S1 (Men''s shoe Size 3 - 4 1/2); M2 (5 - 7 1/2); L3 (8 - 12).
