He doesn't wear his hearing aids 24 hrs a day at home. I have excellent hearing and this alarm is overpowered by the nearly silent tapping on a computer keyboard. The manufacturer's advertising is grossly misleading. This alarm cannot be heard unless you walk around with your wrist raised within 12 inches of your ear at the "designated" time. And if you raised your arm faithfully at the designated time, you wouldn't need an alarm watch to begin with! An alarm's purpose is to notify.
