The  MindWave  Mobile Plus  headset  transfers  data via Bluetooth™ to wirelessly communicate with your  computer  and  mobile  devices  (iOS  and Android).

The brainwave starter kit is the most affordable way to purchase the MindWave Mobile EEG headset. The Brainwave Starter Kit bundles the MindWave Mobile + with three unique apps:

Once you’ve mastered these apps, you can log into your device’s App Store, where you’ll have access to more than 100 apps exclusively designed for the MindWave Mobile. From games, to educational programs, to health and wellness apps, there’s something for everyone. Or, if you’d rather try your hand at crafting your own app, we’ve included a free developer tool so you can write your own programs to interact with your MindWave Mobile.

The MindWave Mobile Plus safely measures and outputs the EEG power spectrums (alpha waves, beta waves, etc), NeuroSky eSense meters (attention and meditation) and eye blinks. The device consists of a headset, an ear-clip, and a sensor arm.  The headset’s reference and ground electrodes are on the ear clip and the EEG electrode is on the sensor arm, resting on the forehead above the eye (FP1 position). It uses a single AAA battery with 8 hours of battery life.
