When you locked QZSD-03 Ballhead into any position, it stays firmly without wavering.
There are 3 locking knobs:
1) One knob allows you to swivel the Ballhead 360 degree for taking panoramic shot.
2) The second knob allows you to set the Ballhead to landscape or portrait mode.
3) The third knob allows you to set the tension of the Ballhead movement when you adjust the second knob, very useful when you want to have minor Ballhead movement for precise positioning of your camera.
Other well known brand of the same Ballhead quality would have cost more than $100. QZSD-03 Ballhead at $49 is a steal.
