This wmf basic water carafe designed by kohler and wilms features an innovative patent pending design: the cromargan 18/10 stainless steel lid opens automatically when tilted for the pour, and the contents flow into the glass accurately and without spillage. Also, an integrated strainer in the lid holds back ice cubes and pieces of fruit such as slices of lemon. When not in use, the carafe stays closed keeping the contents fresh. The lid can be completely taken apart and is easy to clean, and the generous opening the carafe is very easy to fill. The attractively shaped bottle fits in the refrigerator door and is dishwasher safe.
