May cause a blister if you wear for a long time as the rubber might rub without socks. Sole is not comfortable on bare feet, but if you use it for a stream crossing shoe, you won't care. No cushioning. Little holes on the sides allow water to escape but there is not enough holes for it to escape real quick. Still, the tiny holes will not let in lots of dirt or rocks if you also use them for a camp shoe. Weight for men's size 8 is 12 ounces. Grip was impressive.
