It hasn't made it totally disappear, but it keeps the areas soft and comfortable, and fairly "normal" looking. The smell is minimal. It has no cortisone, which is a plus because I am reluctant to give that to a child on a regular basis. I decided to try the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream on my legs. I was surprised. It absorbed really well. I use it on my dry skin(face).
