Most of Arduino main board uses UART to load program, a good example is Arduino/Genuino UNO. When you plug a USB to UART converter to computer USB port, it becomes COM port.

Anyway, why is there another version since Cytron carry UC00A and UC00B already? We will still carry UC00A because it is high quality and popular product, it uses FTDI chip and very reliable.
