Dri-Tec Upper The Altitude VI I Walking Boot from Hi-Tec is made with a Dri-Tec Membrane. This feature allows the boot to prevent water getting inside of the boot but at the same time, allows cool air to flow in at the same time as releasing warmer air. This will allow the inside of the boot and the wearer's feet to remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. A Premium Leather has been chosen to construct the upper as it is a superbly durable material which will protect the boot and foot from potentially rough and loose terrain which could cause damage. This fabric is also extremely flexible and will allow the boot to wrap the foot with ease for a snug and supportive fit. A Hi-Tec specific feature is known as an I-Shield which in an invisible, protective layer has also been added to the upper which repels dirt as well as water, this can help prevent muck and debris getting inside of the boot. The I-Shield is also resistant to stains so the boot stays in great condition and looks more appealing for longer. The closure feature chosen for this boot is a traditional lacing system which can be quickly and easily adjusted to offer the wearer a snug, supportive and personal fastening. The Eyelets are made from a Rust-proof metal which will keep the fastening system in good condition for longer, therefore allowing the wearer to receive a secure fit for a longer period of time. The boot is lined with a Micro-Fleece fabric which draws excess sweat and moisture away from the skin and moves it to outer fabric layers where it can be evaporated.
