Xanthan Gum is fine powder derived from the fermentation of sugar. It works well in cosmetics as a thickener, emulsion stabiliser, conditioner and humectant.
Usage rate 0.5%-2%
Xanthan Gum is an excellent natural-source thickener for lotions, creams, liquid soap, shower gels, body washes and shampoos.
2. Surfactant

It is an extremely mild amino-acid surfactant, with outstanding foamability. It’s widely used in shampoo, facial cleanser and body wash.
It is produced from glycine and natural fatty acids. main characteristic is its high foaming ability. It produces creamy, rich foam. It is notable for leaving the skin feeling fresh without making it feel taut. The glycine type exhibits a synergistic effect with fatty acids, consequently, yielding a higher quality of elasticity as well as volume of foam. This effect makes it most suitable for body washes and facial cleansing foams.
3. Tween 20
Polysorbate 20 is derived from coconut oil. It is a non-toxic, nonionic surfactant and emulsifier. It is a watery yellowish liquid used as a dispersing agent that allows oil and water to mix without using alcohol.This is used as a fragrance stabilizer and it lubricates and has a soothing effect on the skin. You can use this in an array of products like lotions, conditioners, cream rinses, shampoo, liquid soaps, body washes, body scrubs, room sprays, etc. This can also be used in linen sprays and body mists.
