Installing the BoostValve inline with the stock solenoid allows much faster turbo spool-up before the factory solenoid opens, so you gain the advantage of more boost at lower RPMs generating more usable torque in everyday driving. No more need to use full throttle to get into the boost. Keeping the factory solenoid allows it to control peak boost. You gain power at lower RPMs even at stock peak boost levels.
