FTX contains chitosan combined with vitamin C and other phytonutrients to help optimise a healthy meal plan.

Description

Lipids or fats are present in many foods in  varying degrees, and can be both good and bad. Adjusting your diet to tip the scales in your favour can be fairly simple – if you want to ingest more essential fatty acids, then you can start by consuming more oily fish or supplementing with fish oil. To reduce the amount of saturated fats in your diet, it is recommended to avoid highly processed “fast food”. The trick is to minimise the ingestion of bad fats through diet, limit the amount of meals that include these foods and only treat yourself once in a while if you feel like it.

However hard we try it is not always possible to adhere to these principles. Once in a while you may fancy an indulgent treat or a meal out. Unfortunately some of life’s food pleasures are stacked full of fatty, bulky foods, so what can you do?  FTX might just be the answer.

Key ingredients

Chitosan — is a polysaccharide derived from the shells of crustaceans, typically crab or shrimp, and is used in a number of industrial applications and food supplements.

Ascorbic acid — commonly known as vitamin C, this vital vitamin is used by the body in many ways. Apart from a documented antioxidant function in the body, ascorbic acid complements and enhances the efficacy of chitosan.

Arabinogalactan — is a plant based polysaccharide found in a wide variety of edible and non-edible, woody plants. The wood of the larch tree (Larix occidentalis) provides a rich harvest of free arabinogalactan from its inner bark.

Soy polysaccharides — very similar in function to arabinogalactan.
