This was cheaper than a poppy wig and she could use it as a regular jacket after the holiday. The hair stands quite high and stays up by itself. The fit is a bit odd. I had read on other sites that it ran snug in the bodice but big in the sleeves and that is exactly what I got. She is a small 3.5 year old who wears 3T and some 4T but most 4T shirts are too big. I got her the 4 and its snug. The sleeves are long and slightly baggy though. So if you want this to last or plan on wearing layers underneath definitely size up.
