It comes with four separate pieces. It has 7 mini-figs (8 if you count the goblin king). They are: two goblin soldiers, goblin scribe, Ori the Dwarf, Nori the Dwarf, Dori the Dwarf, Gandalf the Grey, and the Goblin King. The Set: Like I said, it has four separate pieces. Two are platforms, one is the Goblin King's throne, and the other is a bridge. The set has many cool play features, including a collapsing bridge, a working crane, and a ladder that you can push out. It also has a removable treasure, and a trap. I know a lot of people complain about the extra pieces and the fact that none of the four pieces actually connect, but I think that the extra bone pieces make it look more goblin-ish, and the non-connectable pieces give it extra playability. The bridge is very cool looking, and is really fun to collapse. The crane is very cool, and isn't that hard to build. The throne is awesome and has a lot of rocky looking pieces on it. The two platform pieces aren't very interesting, but do make up a way to get to the throne. The set does come with some stickers, but considering the size of the set, there aren't that many stickers. The mini figs: Gandalf the Grey: the Gandalf mini fig is very cool, but is not exclusive, as he is also in An Unexpected Gathering and in Gandalf Arrives. Ori the Dwarf: Ori is sort of weird looking, and has a purple coat, a grey cape, and a short axe. He has short brown legs, and a double sided head. Nori the Dwarf: Nori is really awesome looking. He has star shaped hair, a brown coat, a mace, and a short sword. He has a double sided head piece which has eyebrows that look like they are braided into his hair. Dori the Dwarf: Dori has a very nice hair piece, a red coat and cape, a flail, and a short sword. He also has a double sided head piece. Goblin soldiers: The goblin soldiers are not actually the same exact mini figures. One has some chains printed on his torso, and a rugged looking sword. The other has rope printed on his torso and a bone axe. All three of the goblins have the same double sided head and ear/hair piece. Goblin Scribe: The goblin scribe has some printing on his torso, and has short brown legs. He carries a scroll with goblin writing on it. The Goblin King: The Goblin King is very cool looking. He is very large and looks very fat. He hold a staff with bone pieces on it. His arms and hands can move, but his legs stay in one position. His hands are cool because you can put a mini figure in them. Pros and Cons: Pros Mini figs Play features Rocky cave look Goblin king! Bone pieces Cons None for me (Some people may not like the non connect-ability and the extra bone pieces) I would recommend this set to any hobbit fan on Middle-Earth! -Mezzoforte890Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)Reportgoblin king11/26/2012Average rating:5out of5stars, based onreviews11/26/2012by dao1this would be a pretty cool set to have mainly because i like giant figures like the goblin king, the cave troll, lego castle theme giant trolls and so on.i also like the challenging build. i also like functions(ALOT!).and this set has lots of traps and functions.Written by a customer while visiting shop.LEGO.comWas this review helpful?Yes (0)No (0)ReportRead all reviews
