Post Audio''s new ARF-72 is an isolation shield designed to be used either live or in the studio. This type of clear shield is used in live situations to cut down the volume of loud instruments (horns in particular, but also drums and guitar amps) while keeping everybody visible to each other.

Iso shields are used in live shows, church services and recording studios to keep instrumental sounds out of the singer''s mic, without blocking the audience and musicians from being able to see the performers.?

What is different about Post Audio''s version of this tool is that their ARF-72 does not need a special stand. It has a specially designed swivel mount that fits on any standard mic stand. So it''s much easier to store and to transport and since it can be mounted on any combination of stand and boom, and even upside down, it''s far more versatile than the usual suspects.
