Installation Instructions:
1. Position the doorstop post on the lower outside area of the door.
2. Mark the screw holes. Drill a pilot hole at mark.
3. Place the expanding screw into the hole.
4. Slide the ring that covers the screw holes over the post and thread it onto the flange threads.
5. Move the door so that the post touches the wall or baseboard. Draw an outline around the head with a pencil.
6. Push on the center button part of the base and pinch the bottom. Unscrew the cover from the base. It will come apart as a base, spring, spring cap and cover. Place the base over the outline on the baseboard. Mark your screw holes and drill pilot holes. Screw the base to the baseboard with a screwdriver.
7. Place the cap on the spring and insert the spring into the cover. Center the cover over the base and compress until you can thread the cover onto the base and tighten it.
