Much like regular mid-top sneakers it has a leather and mesh constructions and is fastened with laces. There is a strap covering the top of the laces that keeps them down and out of the way - which is particularly helpful for cycling. This is a nice crossover shoe that shares the form and fit of a sneaker with the flexibility and balance of jika-tabi.<br /><br />The external material is black pig-skin leather with a polyester mesh for breathability. The bottom has a black rubber sole in the same shape as the more traditional looking Jog jika-tabi.
