The clove essential oil used in this soap is steam distilled from hand picked, unopened dry flower buds of the tropical evergreen tree, Eugenia cayophyllata. Clove has been used therapeutically to regulate the thyroid gland and as an antiseptic agent to treat minor cuts and insect bites. The soap's spicy and woody aroma warms the senses to help overcome exhaustion and stimulate memory. This is an excellent foot soap as the soap's anti-fungal properties effectively treat athlete's foot while its deodorizing properties freshen and reduce odor. Oatmeal has been added to gently exfoliate dry or rough skin. Produces a rich and creamy lather.
