How Polar Bottle® Products Are Made
At Polar Bottle, we take great pride in producing an American-made product that reduces our environmental impact and supports our local and
national economies by providing employment to local workers. Our products are assembled in, and shipped from, our warehouse in Boulder,
Colorado with parts sourced from the USA.
BPA and Phthalate-Free
Polar Bottle® products DO NOT contain harmful chemicals like BPA or phthalates. The insulated Polar Bottle® Sport is made of
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE). The cap for the bottle is made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), and the valve is made of Urethane.
The Half Twist™ caps are made of BPA- and Phthalate-free Tritan™ plastic, fitted with a medical grade silicone gasket.
Insulated Function
The Polar Bottle® will easily keep your drink cold more than twice as long as a standard single-wall, uninsulated bottle. The Insulated function
could last a few hours depending conditions. In order to maximize the effectiveness of the bottle, we recommend pre-freezing half of the
bottle filled with liquid before using.
Spill and Leak Proof
The Polar Bottle Half Twist Cap is designed to prevent spilling and leaking. Give the cap a half twist left until the water droplets on the cap and
bottle line up and you’re ready to drink. Twist it back to the right, and it’s completely sealed.
Functional Large-Mouth Openings
The large openings of our bottles, accommodate big ice cubes and also make for easy cleaning. You can handwash all of our products and
many of them are diswasher safe including the cap and valve.
Freezer Safe
The Polar Bottle Sport Water Bottles are freezer safe so long as the bottle is not more than 3/4 full. Freezing a full bottle could cause the bottle to split.
Filling a bottle halfway, freezing it overnight and topping it off in the morning before a long day is a great way to keep your water cold all day.
The Polar Bottle Stainless Steel Thermaluxe is not freezer safe and could potentially crack when frozen.
Detachable Carrying Strap
With a carrying strap, bringing out the Polar Bottle is much convenient. It could also be hooked onto bags using just a caribbean hook.
The strap could be detach by simply removing the cap from the bottle and pull the strap off.
