Numbers are large and clear. Radio is fine...I could connect with the station I was looking for and sound is good. Bu I can't give this clock more than a 3 due to the quality of its plastic parts. It is a good thing I don't plan on moving this clock around because I am afraid the bar (the silver bar in picture to be exact) across the station turn dial will fall off...or break. Because I like the looks and idea of this clock, I am keeping it...not worth the effort to return and effort to find one similar. Don't expect a quality radio, but we didn't buy it for that. The one thing I wish it had was display dimming capabilities. Her old clock had stopped working recently, and I liked the large display on this one. It is in service right now and she likes it. When setting it up, the radio was a bit difficult to get going but I was able to find a station. She doesn't really use this feature, so I didn't mind too much that it appears to be problematic.
