NOTE

When shooting movies
Start and stop move shooting using the Remote Controller RC-6 
          If you set the shooting timing switch to the <2> position and press the transmit button, movie shooting will start. If the switch is set to <  > (immediate shooting), still photo shooting will take effect

this switch is found on the back of the remote

for first time use please pull out the plastic separator at the battery holder
mount the camera on a tripod or place the camera on a stable level surface
press the button and rotate main command dial (delayed remote) or (quick response remote) is displayed in the control panel 
aim the transmitter on the remote control at the infrared receiver on the camera (usually within +/- 30 degree of the camera) and press the shutter release button on the remote control
how the camera focuses and shoots depends on the option selected camera custom settings, for futher information please check your camera manual
infrared cannot be seen by human eyes so you will see no visible light from the led on the front of the remote
please set your camera in remote mode before using it
