1. Dual Independent Display

Dual Display allows users to use both VGA and CVBS outputs at the same time with different display options. Two different and individual display modes can be set on each monitor output.

For example, Live Monitoring on one monitor and Playback on another Monitor can be displayed and controlled at the same time.

You can also have more combinations as above the right image and it can be used in various ways as your choice. (Live + Live & Live+ Digital Signage & Live [Local] + Live [Remote] by PFRM feature)

Here are 3 ways to move the controls between VGA and Composite Monitors when using Dual Display.

Connect the monitors to VGA and CVBS out connector.

1. Simply Click 2 mouse buttons at the same time.

2. Hold „Display‟ button on the front panel for 3 seconds.

3. Click Right mouse button, you can see “ Move Display Focus “. Select it.

You can see the status bar moves one monitor to another monitor when you do above operations.

2. Digital Signage

You can display commercial information in using picture or movie format of Digital Signage on the screen. This Feature is linked to Dual Independent Display feature. By using Dual Display feature with this feature, you can have the advantage of both Security Surveillance and Commercial usage.

For example, one monitor is for Security (Live) and another monitor is for Commercial (Digital Signage file)

To Turn on the Digital Signage Function.

1. Create a Digital Signage File using Digital Signage maker (refer to Appendix C. of Manual for detail about how to make the Digital Signage File.) and copy it on your USB memory.

2. Go to “MENU > DISPLAY > Digital Signage”. You can see “Import” button there. Import the file into DVR by USB memory.

(Note: the folder name of Digital Signage File has to be “ advertise “ when you make the Digital Signage File. Do not change the name of the folder, it is not realized into the DVR.)

3. Set it and schedule on the Digital Signage Menu.

(You can schedule it for your prefer time or specific time you want on Schedule tab so you can put this Digital Signage on during the business hour and turn it into normal security monitoring again after business hour.)

Once the feature is on, you will see the options of monitors where you want to show your own commercial.

3. PFRM (PC Free Remote Monitoring)

It allows a direct remote connection on LIVE between DVRs without a PC by connecting a DVR remotely from another DVR.

By using Dual Independent Feature, you can see the remote connection on one screen with local DVR‟s one.

You can set this feature “Remote -> Live” in Contextual Menu. (Refer to Appendix D. of Manual for detail)

Now, this feature is available on LIVE mode, and soon Playback & PTZ mode will also be supported.

4. Remote (Nemon) Network Archiver (software)

It is a Remote Archiving Program to keep recorded data from DVRs on remote sites via Network.

Archiving can be simultaneously performed with multi sites registered.

The S/W offers flexible storage management by creating, adding or deleting Storage File as much as user wants regardless of the size and numbers.

How to start this program.

Install Nemon Network Archiver S/W and start it with the New Schedule.

Enter the each following information.

After that, you can see the each status of Archiving site added.

In Storage Manager, Storage Group can be managed for each Archiving schedule.

5. New Imon2 (Smartphone viewer)

We have uploaded new iPhone and Android programs to the each App market.

After searching “ IMON2 ” in the market, download and install it.

You need to enter some information (Name & Site address & Port No. & ID & PW) when you first get to a site or add new site.

The new features are as below:

This is an easy network setting option regarding the Port Settings. You just need to set the ports on DVR and check the UPnP option, it automatically sets ports on a connected router. Please refer to below graphic information for better understanding.
